In July 2020, this veteran actor was first infected with Corona. After receiving treatment from the hospital for several days, he returned home fully recovered. At that time, his son actor Abhishek Bachchan became Covid positive. He was also admitted to the hospital. Daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya also got infected with Corona. They were in home quarantine.
