Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): On the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Homecoming Day,A discussion meeting and winter clothes were distributed in Bandarban.On Tuesday (January 10) afternoon,this winter clothing distribution and discussion meeting was held at the premises of Bangabandhu Muktamanch on the initiative of Bandarban District Awami League.

President of Bandarban District Awami League and Chairman Of Bandarban Hill District Counsil Kyaw Shwe Hla Were present as the chief guests in the event.

District Awami League General Secretary Municipal Mayor Md.Islam Beby,Joint Secretary Laxmi pada Das,Mozammel Haque Bahadur,Municipal Awami League President Amal Kanti Das,General Secretary Shamsul Islam and other leaders and activists of the organization were present.

At the time District Awami League President Kyaw Shwe Hla Said that,the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman worked for the welfare of the soil and people of this country.That is why the Bengali nation remembers him with respect even after all these years.At the end of the discussion meeting,1,500 poor,helpless and cold people were given winter clothes by the district Awami League.
