Idea’s Project “Progress and Actions” workshop held at Srimangal

A consultation workshop titled “Progress and Actions” was held at Srimangal of Moulvibazar on the topic of Promoting Wash-Cor Hard to Rich Communities Including Tea Garden Walkers in Bangladesh Project.
Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest at the workshop organized by the Institute of Development Affairs (IDEA) at the Upazila Parishad hall room on Thursday (November 24) at 11 am.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun and IDEA’s Technical Officer Monitoring and Evaluation Mrinal Kanti Das, Upazila Parishad Female Vice Chairman Mithali Dutta was present as a guest in the workshop.
Idea Wash project manager Pankaj Ghosh Dastidar presented information about the organization’s activities, success, progress and to-dos through a projector in collaboration with Simavi and Water Aid Bangladesh.
Md. Saiful Islam, Deputy Assistant Engineer of Upazila Public Health, Partha Sararthi Singh, Resident Medical Officer of Upazila Health Complex, Prothom Alo District Representative Akmal Hossain Nipu, President of Srimangal Press Club Biswajyoti Chaudhuri, TIB Srimangal Area Co-ordinator Parvez Kairi, participated in the free discussion in the workshop. Journalist columnist Syed Amiruzzaman, Rajghat Union Parishad panel chairman Md. Salim Ahmad, labor leader Paskaj Kund and Satgaon Union Parishad secretary Rabindra Deb etc.
The workshop was attended by government officials, public representatives, media workers, labor representatives, teacher representatives and people from various professions.
