Handover of responsibilities to the newly elected committee of Press Club Jashore

Responsibilities have been handed over to the newly elected committee of Press Club Jashore. On Tuesday afternoon (September 22), members of the convening committee formally handed over their duties to the newly elected leaders at a meeting held at the Press Club Jashore office. Attendees at the handover ceremony included the convening committee’s Member Secretary Binoy Krishna Mallick, along with members and former secretaries Ahsan Kabir, M Ayub, and Akramuzzaman, among others.
Responsibilities were transferred to the newly elected leaders, including Press Club Jashore President Jahid Hasan Tukun and General Secretary Nur Islam. Also present at the event were newly elected Vice-Presidents Anwarul Kabir Nantu and Sarwar Hossain; Joint Secretaries Kazi Ashraful Azad and Firoz Gazi; Treasurer Jahid Ahmed Liton; Office Secretary Tahid Moni; Sports and Cultural Secretary Dewan Morshed Alam; and members Rafiqul Islam, Galib Hasan Piltu, Murshidul Azim Hiru, SM Sohel, and Tauhid Zaman.
It is worth noting that the biennial election of Press Club Jashore took place on September 19. The election was organized by the convening committee formed specifically to conduct the Press Club’s election and general meeting. Out of 121 eligible voters, 118 exercised their right to vote in the election. The new committee was formed through this election process. In accordance with the organization’s constitution, the newly elected committee will serve a two-year term.
