Newly Appointed UNO Ashraful Kabir Joins at Atpara

Md. Ashraful Kabir has joined as the Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) of Atpara, Netrakona. He officially assumed his duties around 11:00 AM on Monday (September 21). At that time, the outgoing UNO, Shahnoor Rahman, handed over the responsibilities to the newly appointed UNO. Later, a farewell ceremony for the outgoing UNO Shahnoor Rahman and a welcome reception for the new UNO Md. Ashraful Kabir were held at the Upazila Parishad hall room, organized by the Officers’ Club.
Officials and representatives from various government departments of the Upazila attended the event. The new UNO, Md. Ashraful Kabir, is an officer of the 37th BCS batch. Prior to joining Atpara, he served as the Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Jhinaigati Upazila of Sherpur.
During his tenure at Atpara, the outgoing UNO Shahnoor Rahman oversaw various administrative and developmental activities within the Upazila. At the event, officials present recalled his various activities during his tenure and extended their best wishes to him. Upon assuming office, the new UNO Md. Ashraful Kabir expressed his commitment to accelerating government activities in the Upazila and prioritizing public service.
