Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Abu Bakar Siddique Appointed as Private Secretary to the State Minister for Social Welfare
Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate (Senior Civil Judge) Md. Abu Bakar Siddique has been appointed as the Private Secretary (PS) to the State Minister for Social Welfare.
This decision was announced in a notification issued by the Law and Justice Division (Judicial Branch-1) of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. The notification states that, in accordance with the wishes of the State Minister for Social Welfare and following consultation with the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the services of this judge from the Bangladesh Judicial Service have been placed under the Ministry of Public Administration.
Issued by order of the President and signed by Md. Masum Billah, Deputy Secretary (Administration-1) of the Law and Justice Division, the order directs that the transfer be implemented by September 17, 2026. According to the notification, the official is required to hand over the charge of his current position to an officer designated by the head of the office by that date and join his new place of posting immediately. The notification notes that this order has been issued in the public interest.
