Lohagara madrasa ad hoc committee formed Tulkalam

In Lohagara-Swarooppur Dakhil Madrasa of Sadullapur Union of Pabna Sadar Upazila, there was an incident of fighting, punching and shoving between two local parties centered on the intervention of an outside influencer for the formation of ad hoc committee for a candidate. When the incident caused tension in the area, the police went to the spot and brought the situation under control. Last Monday (September 14) after noon, an election board meeting was held with the people of 4-5 villages around the madrasa for the purpose of adhoc formation of the madrasa.

Abdul Hamid Master presided over the committee formation board meeting. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that there are 3 candidates for the post of convener of the ad hoc committee of the madrasa, they are Hafiz Molla, Wahidul Islam and Md. Azam Ullah they allow three candidates to come together in a room to discuss one candidate. In this secret room, Wahidul Islam supported Md. Hafiz for the interests of the party and for the development of the madrasa.

When the madrasa superintendent and board president Hafiz was announced as the winning candidate and prepared the necessary documents, a man named Alauddin Khan from Diarpara village of Dublia area snatched the paper from the superintendent’s hand. When a fight broke out between the two sides over the tearing of Hafeez’s victory declaration, police rushed to the spot and pacified both sides.

In order to verify the truth of the incident, when this reporter talked to Madrasa area Abu Taleb Molla, candidate Ozahidul Islam, board president Abdul Hamid Master, they said that candidate Azam Ullah was abroad for almost three years. He did not contribute any kind of money to the establishment of this madrasa and the construction of the madrasa. However, he called this Alauddin Khan of Dublia area and caused such a noble incident, which has defamed the respectable people of the area and will hinder the development of the madrasa in the future.
According to sources, everyone agreed on keeping Md. Hafiz as the guardian member of the committee.

Later, in the presence of local dignitaries and concerned persons in the hall of the madrasa, Alauddin Khan of Diyarpara village outside the madrasa broke the order by exerting influence and tearing the declaration sheet in this meeting to discuss the convenor election of the ad hoc committee and declare the candidate as the winner. The dignitaries of the area are very angry with this mysterious role of Alauddin Khan from outside and demanded the member of parliament to investigate the matter and take action.
