Bogura City Corporation hosted a reception for Rezaul Karim Badsha, Member of Parliament for the Bogura Sadar-6 constituency, following his appointment as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Housing and Public Works. The reception was held on Sunday at the City Corporation’s conference room. Presided over by Bogura City Corporation Administrator M.R. Islam Swadhin and moderated by Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Said Ali, the event featured an address by the guest of honor, MP Rezaul Karim Badsha.

Other speakers included Bogura City Corporation Chief Engineer Serajul Islam, Executive Magistrate Jahangir Alam Babu, Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Moniruzzaman Moni, District Mohila Dal General Secretary Nazma Akter, and former Panel Mayor Sri Parimal Chandra Das. Speaking at the event, MP Rezaul Karim Badsha noted that the Ministry of Housing and Public Works plays a vital role in the country’s urban development, housing, construction of government infrastructure, and public works sectors.

He remarked that assuming the chairmanship of the parliamentary committee related to this ministry has created an opportunity to play a positive role in the development of Bogura and the enhancement of civic amenities. He further assured that he would continue to provide necessary cooperation and coordination for the development activities of the Bogura City Corporation.

Officials from various levels of the Bogura City Corporation were present at the event. On behalf of the Bogura City Corporation, the guest of honor was welcomed with floral greetings and presented with a commemorative memento.
