Director General of the force stands by the family of the Upazila Ansar-VDP officer killed in a road accident

Mohammad Alauddin, an Upazila Ansar and VDP officer of Mirsarai, Chittagong, lost his life in a tragic road accident while performing his professional duties on July 5, 2026. In his untimely death, the respected Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, has taken a humanitarian initiative. After paying Tk. 75,000/- immediately for burial and ambulance fare at that time, his bank loan burden has now been repaid.
On Thursday (September 3) morning, the Director General of the force, on behalf of the welfare wing of the force, handed over a cheque of financial assistance of Tk 2,58,074 to Farzana Yasmin Poli, the wife of the deceased Upazila officer, at the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force. This money will be used to pay off the outstanding loan of the late Mohammad Alauddin to Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank.
The deceased’s father and the director of the welfare branch of the force, Enamul Khan, were present at the time. The Director General expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and assured them that all the benefits they deserve as per the rules will be ensured at the earliest and all kinds of cooperation will be provided to them by the force in the future as well.
