Turkish Airlines Hosts Grand Iftar Mehfil in Dhaka

Turkish Airlines Dhaka hosted a grand Iftar Mehfil on 10 March 2026 at the elegant Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, bringing together around 550 distinguished guests from government, aviation, business, media, travel trade, sports, and entertainment sectors. The evening was graced by the presence of Prime Minister’s Adviser Mahdi Amin, along with Ramis Şen, Naser Shahriar Zahedi, Chairman of Aeromate Services Ltd and General Sales Agent (GSA) of Turkish Airlines in Bangladesh, senior officials from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, industry leaders, travel agency owners, media representatives, sports personalities, celebrities, and other respected guests. The event was hosted by İslam Güre, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Dhaka, who warmly welcomed the guests and expressed his appreciation for their presence and continued support.
In his remarks, Mr. Güre highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, describing it as a time of gratitude, unity, compassion, and togetherness. He noted that the presence of valued partners and stakeholders reflects the strong bonds of mutual respect and cooperation that Turkish Airlines proudly shares in Bangladesh. He added that these relationships are built not only on business partnerships but also on trust, friendship, and a shared commitment to strengthening connectivity between Türkiye and Bangladesh.
The evening also featured a special Ney flute performance by Özgür Özyürek, Religious Affairs Attaché of the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka, which added a spiritual and cultural dimension to the gathering. The Iftar Mehfil concluded with a warm and engaging atmosphere, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan through friendship, hospitality, and meaningful interaction among the guests.
