Khondaker Mahmudul Hasan, Executive Officer (UNO) of Satkania Upazila in Chittagong, has been transferred to Rangpur Division. The matter was informed in a notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Field Administration-1 Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration, Md. Barman Hossain.

After joining as Satkania Upazila Executive Officer in August 2025, he was able to gain the trust of the common people of the upazila within a short time. During his tenure of about eight months, he took a strict stand against various irregularities including corruption, irregularities, hill cutting, and online gambling.

During this period, he is known to have conducted more than 500 operations. Through these operations, he played an important role in suppressing illegal activities and maintaining administrative discipline.

UNO Khondaker Mahmudul Hasan was also active in humanitarian activities. He stood by the helpless and destitute people of Satkania Upazila in various ways, including distributing rice, pulses, shelter, winter clothes, financial assistance and educational materials.

In a short time, his activities have received a positive response from people of different classes and professions in the Upazila. Upon the news of the transfer, many have praised his activities and expressed gratitude through social media.
