Public reception given to newly elected MP Abdul Wares in the Char area of Fulchhari
A public reception was given to newly elected MP Freedom fighter Abdul Wares of Fulchhari-Saghata constituency at various places in Erendabari Union of Fulchhari Upazila of Gaibandha. On Wednesday afternoon, at the function organized at the Harichandi High School ground of the union, Freedom fighter Abdul Wares MP, spoke as the chief guest. At the time, he said, the people’s votes and support are my biggest strength.
Fulfilling the expectations of the people is my commitment. Prevention of river erosion, education and agriculture will be given priority in the development plan of the area. I will work with utmost sincerity to implement the election promise. He assured to give priority to the development of river erosion, communication system, education and agriculture sectors in particular.
On this day, he participated in separate public receptions at Harichandi Bazar, Kishamatdholi Government Primary School Ground, Bhatiapara Bazar, Algar Char Bazar and Jigabari High School Ground in Erendabari Union. Locals greeted him with flowers at each place. Erendabari Union Jamaat-e-Islami President Maulana Kamruzzaman presided over these events.
Speeches were given by Fulchhari Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Principal Maulana Sirajul Islam Akand, Erendabari Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Mannan Akand, Panel Chairman Saidur Rahman, Fulchhari Upazila Branch President Hafez Abdul Alim, Assistant Secretary Maulana Abul Khair, Erendabari Union Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Maulana Farid Uddin and local leaders.
Earlier in the morning, freedom fighter Abdul Wares MP inspected the ongoing river erosion prevention work in the Sanyasi Char Ghat area of Erendabari Union. He spoke to the concerned people there and inquired about the progress of the work and assured them of taking effective measures to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the erosion.
