PM sends gift to Shaheed Farooq in July, MP has delivered it to Home
Chittagong-10 MP Sayed Al Noman delivered gifts on behalf of the Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman to the family of Shaheed Farooq in the July Uprising.
On Sunday (March 1) evening, Sayed Al Noman, a humanitarian figure and MP from Chittagong-10, went to Shaheed Farooq’s residence in Lalkhan Bazar in the city and handed over gifts to the family members on behalf of the Prime Minister.
At this time, he said, Shaheed Farooq’s sacrifice will be forever remembered in the history of the nation. This sacrifice will inspire us in the struggle to establish democracy, justice and human rights.
He also said, PM Tarique Rahman is a symbol of a humane Bangladesh. He has expressed deep sympathy for the martyr’s family and reiterated his commitment to stand by them in all situations. Politics is like worship for me – I want to spread the politics of service to people and humanity among everyone.
At that time, Sayeed Al Noman took responsibility for the education expenses and other financial support of Shaheed Farooq’s two children.
Many other leaders of Chittagong Metropolitan City, including the women leadership of BNP, were present at the time.
