My extended life is to serve the people of this country: Salahuddin Ahmed
BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said, I was not supposed to live, I was abducted for the purpose of killing. You prayed, Allah heard you prayers and kept me alive and gave me a new life. This new life of mine, this extended life is to serve the people of this country. I was born for the development of this country, to protect its independence.
He said these things at the last election rally organized at the bus terminal premises of Chakaria Municipality in Cox’s Bazar around 5:30 pm on Monday (February 9). Salahuddin Ahmed said, our children have been martyred with their blood for a discrimination-free state, for democratic reforms.
To realize that dream, we want to establish a Bangladesh where no one else has to give their life for the right to vote, for democracy. Seeking votes on the paddy sheaf, he said, “The history of BNP is the history of economic development of this country, the history of restoring democracy again and again.”
On the 12th, all of you will fearlessly vote on the paddy sheaf, and will not leave the polling station until the results are out. Insha Allah, the people will win, because the BNP government is the people’s government.
In the last public meeting, the meeting place was filled with the participation of BNP leaders and activists and paddy sheaf supporters from every union of Chakaria and Pekua.
