Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, some come from abroad like spring cuckoos, and then run away when there is trouble.

But we have not gone anywhere, and we will not go in the future – Insha Allah. He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the 11-party electoral unity rally at Habiganj New Field on Saturday.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Jamaat’s goal is to build a corruption and extortion-free Bangladesh. Equal justice will be established for everyone. He also said, the movement will continue until victory is assured on the 12th.

Everyone should be careful so that the old miscreants do not come back in new clothes. Highlighting the potential of Habiganj, Jamaat Amir said, this district has gas, tea industry, forests and mineral resources.

However, it has been systematically kept back. Five years are enough to change the face of Habiganj. He said, we do not want to see unemployed youth. We want to give dignified work to every person. Regarding the health sector, he said, if we come to power, a specialized hospital and a permanent campus will be built in Habiganj. The rally was presided over by Habiganj District Jamaat Ameer Kazi Maulana Mukhlisur Rahman.

Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Abdul Halim, Chowdhury Ashraful Bari Noman, former district president of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, and leaders of the 11-party alliance also spoke at the event.
