On the occasion of the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, Maulana Manjur Rahman, the party candidate for Rajshahi-5 (Durgapur-Puthia) constituency, held a mass contact and rally in Durgapur Upazila. On Saturday (February 7) afternoon, he organized an election procession as part of his election campaign. After the procession circled various roads in Durgapur Upazila, he held a short rally at the Medical intersection.

At this time, he exchanged greetings with the general voters and presented his speech at the rally by seeking votes with the scale symbol. During the mass contact, Maulana Manjur Rahman said that if the people of the area vote for him and elect him, he will work for the development of the area, justice and the establishment of the rights of the people.

He sought everyone’s cooperation to maintain an environment for peaceful, fair and free and impartial elections. At this time, the mass communication and rally program became very lively with the spontaneous participation of local leaders and activists and the general public.

Maulana Manzur Rahman expressed optimism that the general public and women voters, in addition to the party leaders and activists, are quite excited because Jamaat-e-Islami has a party candidate in this seat in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
