On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum-2026, the newly-joined Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) of the Local Government Department Md. Ashraful Islam visited Kotalipara Municipality in Gopalganj.

When he reached Kotalipara Municipality on Wednesday (January 14) afternoon, he was greeted and congratulated by Kotalipara Municipality Administrator and Upazila Assistant Returning Officer Sagufta Haque.

Later, the Deputy Director of the Local Government Department (DDLG) gave various directions to the Municipal Administrator, Municipal Officers and Employees in the conference room of the Municipality to conduct the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum-2026 to be held on February 12 in a festive atmosphere.

At this time, former Municipal Administrator and Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Kotalipara Municipality Md. Masum Billah, Municipal Executive Officer Piyush Kanti Biswas, Engineer Rajib Bhakta, Deputy Assistant Engineer Md. Mazaharul Islam and Faisal Amin along with other officials and employees of the municipality were present.
