On a foggy winter morning, the upazila administration stood by the cold-stricken people in Shibpur to spread a warm touch of humanity.

Blankets were distributed among the cold-stricken people at the Upazila Parishad ground on Tuesday morning under the direct supervision of Shibpur Upazila Executive Officer Md. Farzana Yasmin.

Organized by the Shibpur Upazila Administration and Disaster Management Department, this program brought a light of relief to the faces of people suffering from the cold.

A blanket is not just a means of warding off the cold—it was a silent message of compassion, responsibility, and humanity.

When warmth reaches the shoulders of helpless people through the hands of a state representative, then even the cold loses to humanity.

This initiative has not only provided blankets to Shibpur, but has also given assurance—people are not alone, the state is by their side.
