As news of various irregularities and corruption in various development works of the municipal slum development project in Sariakandi, Bogura was published in the media and on social media, Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Md. Atikur Rahman inspected all the works including drainage system, road renovation and sanitation system in the slum area of ​​the Municipal Council on Sunday (January 11) morning. At that time, he mentioned that there were some minor irregularities in the road work.

In this regard, Assistant (Commissioner Land) and Municipal Administrator Md. Atikur Rahman said, based on the news published in the media and social media, we inspected various development project works of the municipality. The slightest irregularities were seen in the said work. We took immediate action and instructed the municipal engineer to work properly as per the schedule.

He also said, “From now on, I will be constantly monitoring all the development work of the municipality to ensure that there are no irregularities.”
