“Sports grow in dust – leave drugs and play on the field” – Keeping this theme in mind, the closing ceremony and prize distribution of the Anti-Drug Cricket Tournament 2025 – 2026 organized by the Gopalganj District Narcotics Control Department was held.

On Thursday (January 8) afternoon, the closing and award distribution ceremony was attended by Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Deputy Secretary) Md. Arif-uz-Zaman as the chief guest.

Gopalganj District Narcotics Control Department Assistant Director Md. Nabi Newaz in the chair, Gopalganj District Superintendent of Police Md. Habibullah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) S. M. Tarek Sultan were present as special guests. The program was moderated by District Sports Officer Md. Shahin Sultan Raja.

After the final tournament, the chief guest of the event, Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Md. Arif-uz-Zaman, along with the invited guests, presented the awards (trophies and crests) to the players of the winning and runner-up teams who participated in the tournament.
