A festive atmosphere was seen in the hilly villages around the Christmas festival.A large Christian community lives throughout Bandarban district.Last-minute preparations for Christmas celebrations are underway.In continuation of this,the Bandarban Army Zone has completed the third phase of humanitarian assistance program to share the joy of the festival with the Christian community.

As part of this,Bandarban Zone has handed over various items to the Faruk Para Community Center as a Christmas gift.On Tuesday evening (December 23),Bandarban Zone Captain Fahim Muhammad Ahbab attended as the chief guest and handed over fan,chairs and table to the club leaders. Leaders of the Faruk Para Community Center, journalists from print and electronic media, and public representative were present at the event.

The youth of Faruk Para said, “We are very happy that the army has provided us with useful items.” We would like to thank and express our gratitude to the Bandarban Zone for providing such gifts on the occasion of a festival like Christmas.In this regard, Bandarban Zone said,Bandarban is a district of harmony.

The Bangladesh Army is working to maintain harmony among the people of all communities living in this district.Such humanitarian initiatives on behalf of the Bandarban Army Zone will further accelerate peace, harmony and development in the hilly bandarban region.The Bandarban Zone will continue such humanitarian assistance in the future as well.
