A discussion meeting of the District Police was held with the priests of the churches and other religious institutions existing in all the upazilas of Gopalganj district and the Christian religious leaders of various positions related to the church on the occasion of Christmas celebration on December 25.
A discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Superintendent of Police’s office on Sunday (December 21) organized by the Gopalganj District Police.
The discussion meeting was presided over by District Superintendent of Police Md. Habibullah.
In this special discussion meeting, various representatives of the Christian community expressed their views on ensuring the security of the upcoming ‘Christmas’.
The Superintendent of Police Gopalganj provided security guidelines and sought cooperation from all concerned in this regard. He gave various directions to all the officers to implement the decisions taken.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Administration) Mohammad Aftab Uddin, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Mohammad Ziaul Haque, (PPM), Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sakhawat Hossain Sentu, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Muksudpur Circle) Nafisur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Hasanur Rahman and other officials of the district police were present at the time.
