A discussion meeting was held with journalists on the occasion of the 15th Chapai Festival organized by the Chapainawabganj District Association in Dhaka.
The discussion meeting was held at the Shaheed Minar premises of Nawabganj Government College at 11 am on Monday (December 22).
The journalists were informed about the purpose, program and overall preparation of the Chapai Festival in the meeting.
The discussion was attended by Advocate Delwar Hossain, General Secretary of the Chapainawabganj District Association in Dhaka, and Syed Nazmul Islam Manik, Office Secretary of the Association.
The speakers said that the history, tradition, culture and potential of Chapainawabganj will be highlighted at the national level through the Chapai Festival.
Besides, this festival will play an important role in the development of the district, social harmony and increasing the camaraderie among the expatriate residents of Chapainawabganj.
Leaders of the Chapainawabganj District Association in Dhaka, members of the festival organizing committee and journalists from various print and electronic media of the district were present at the exchange of views.
