A bimonthly project progress review and coordination meeting of the Women’s Adaptation Plan for Climate Resilient Livelihoods in the Sundarbans project was held in Koyra.
it was held on Tuesday (November 25) implemented by Uttaran and funded by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA).
Upazila Executive Officer Abdullah Al Baki chaired by the meeting. Agriculture Officer Tilok Kumar Ghosh, Acting Animal Resources Officer Dr. Shuvo Biswas, Women Affairs Officer Moniruzzaman, Social Service Officer Abul Kalam, Project Coordinator Hasan Abdullah Rafat, and keynote speeches were presented by Project Manager Raufur Adnan, Area Supervisors Shamim Hossain and Selim Ahmed, along with Maheshwaripur and North Bedkashi Union Administrative Officers, NGO representatives, local level community leaders, civil society representatives, teachers, religious leaders, club representatives, farmer leaders, pen owners, women entrepreneurs, and rural vulnerable community members were also present.
