A meeting of media workers was held in Gopalganj with the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Deputy Secretary) Md. Arif-uz-Zaman.
The exchange of views was organized at the conference room “Swachhta” of the Gopalganj District Commissioner on Tuesday (November 18) at 4:45 pm. Media workers working in various electronic and print media in the district and leaders of various journalist organizations participated in this meeting.
At this time, the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate (Deputy Secretary) Md. Arif-uz-Zaman joined the district as a servant of the current caretaker government.
He will work all out to run a clean and accountable administrative process in this district free from corruption, irregularities and nepotism.
And for this, he sought the overall cooperation of all professional media workers working in the district and expressed the hope of providing cooperation in all fields from the administration.
At this time, Gopalganj Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Amit Deb Nath, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) SM Tarek Sultan, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Ataur Rahman, NDC Aniruddha Deb Roy were present.
