The introduction meeting of the ‘Business Unity Forum-supported Hasan Ahmed Javed Panel’ was held in the bi-annual election of the Moulvibazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The introduction of the panel was presented in a grand ceremony at 8 pm on Monday (November 17) in the hall room of a restaurant in Sreemangal. Panel head Hasan Ahmed Javed announced the names of all the members of his panel one by one and introduced them on stage. The members of the panel are, Md. Abdul Mukit, Abul Kalam Belal, Tofail Ahmed Tuel, Saiful Islam Tutul, Haider Hossain, Anisuzzaman Bayes, Emroz Ahmed, Emdadul Haque Emad, Hafez Ahmed Mahfuz, Rahid Ahmed Zakir, Hanif Mohammad Khan, Md. Delwar Hossain, Salman Ahmed Juman, Mirza Sohel Beg, Pranab Pal, Md. Rubel Mia and Md. Moshik Mollah.
At the introductory ceremony, Hasan Ahmed Javed made various promises for the welfare of the businessmen on behalf of the panel.
He said that if they are elected, they will work to implement the promises. The elections will be held on December 11 (Sunday). A total of two panels are contesting in this election.
On the occasion, Srimangal District BNP Member Secretary Abdur Rahim Ripon, Sreemangal Upazila BNP Convener Nurul Alam Siddiqui, member Md. Yakub Ali, General Secretary of the Businessmen’s Association Md. Kamal Hossain, prominent tea taxman and MR Khan Tea Garden proprietor Md. Sirajul Islam Chowdhury Harun and many others spoke.
Local businessmen and people from different walks of life were present at the ceremony.
