Bangladesh Environment Movement (BAPA) Ramu Upazila’s new committee has been formed. In this, Master Mohammad Alam was again elected as the president, Sayed Jewel as the general secretary, and Jabedul Anwar was again elected as the organizing secretary, and a new 33-member committee was formed.
Bangladesh Environment Movement (BAPA) Cox’s Bazar District President HM Ershad announced the names of the new committee and approved it in a meeting held at Ramu Public Library on Saturday (November 15) at 4:30 pm.
Speaking as the chief guest, HM Ershad said, “We work to protect life and nature. Nature has destroyed many things for us. Therefore, it is our responsibility to protect nature. Bapa leaders are not in favor of those who cut down mountains or destroy canals and extract sand illegally. Bapa does not support any illegal occupants or those who destroy the environment. Bapa environmental activists will also not be able to get involved in any immoral activities.
The new committee of the Ramu Upazila branch of Bangladesh Environmental Movement (BAPA) formed for one year includes Master Mohammad Alam as president, freedom fighter Mozaffar Ahmed, Kishore Barua, Engineer Tarun Barua, Abdul Hashem and Shiuli Sharma as vice-presidents, Sayed Jewel as general secretary, Mizanur Rahman Sohel as deputy general secretary, Jabedul Anwar as organizing secretary, Abu Tarek as deputy organizing secretary, Titu Biswas as finance secretary, Morshed Alam as deputy finance secretary, Md. Omar Shawkat is the Environment Affairs Secretary, Shahabuddin is the Deputy Environment Affairs Secretary, Shoyeb Sayeed is the Publicity and Publication Secretary, Mohammad Abdullah is the Deputy Publicity and Publication Secretary, Mizanul Haque is the Cultural Secretary, Rajib Barua is the Deputy Cultural Secretary, Fakhrul Islam Azad is the Office Secretary, Abdul Mannan and Rabiul Hasan are the Deputy Office Secretaries, Tasnimul Haque Shaon is the Information and Technology Affairs Secretary, Mohammad Noman and Mohammad Saiful are the Deputy Information and Technology Affairs Secretary, Nazneen Akhter Meri is the Women’s Affairs Secretary, Arzina Begum, Nazima Sultana, Sultana Yasmin, Tasfia Sultana are the Deputy Women’s Affairs Secretary, Khaled Shahid, Nilotpol Barua, Sukumar Barua and Mamun Chowdhury are the Working Executive Members.
