A new chapter in service and inspiration begins at Comilla University (CoU) as the Rotaract Club of Comilla University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anandalok Extra-Curricular Activities School.

Present at the signing ceremony were Dr. Md. Sohorab Uddin, Founder of Anandalok; Rotaractor Tanvir Anjum Sazon, President of the Rotaract Club; and Rotaractor Md. Al-Amin, General Secretary.

Under the agreement, CoU students and Rotaract members will provide free lessons every Saturday to more than 50 students from classes 3 to 7. Alongside academic subjects, the classes will include lessons on culture, social awareness, and heritage aimed at developing the students into confident and value-driven citizens.

Rotaract President Tanvir Anjum Sazon stated, ‘We had been planning this initiative for a long time with Dr. Sohorab Uddin Sir, the founder of Anandalok School and also a faculty member of our university. Our goal was to create learning opportunities for underprivileged children in the nearby area. Today, with the signing of the MoU, that dream project has officially begun.’

He further added, ‘Over the next six months, our members as well as other university students who are passionate about contributing to society will have the opportunity to provide free educational support and guidance to the students of this unique school. We believe this initiative will significantly enhance the children’s interest in learning and boost their confidence.
