Free medical camp initiated by BGB at Naikhongchari border

Bandarban’s Naikhongchari Battalion (11 BGB) has initiated free medical services for the poor, helpless and distressed hill people and Bengali people of the border area. This medical campaign was held, Thursday (13 November 2025) from 10 am to 2:10 pm at the premises of Jaruliachari Government Primary School in the border area under the responsibility of Naikhongchari Battalion. The camp provided primary health check-ups, medical advice and free medicines to the local poor, helpless and distressed people. A total of 340 people, including 97 men, 133 women and 80 children, were provided medical services during this time. The medical camp was led by BSS-102668 Captain Muktadirul Islam, AMC, Medical Officer, Naikshongchhari Battalion (11 BGB). This humanitarian activity of the BGB has generated great enthusiasm among the local people. The people living in the border area have welcomed such an initiative of the BGB and expressed their gratitude. The authorities of the Naikhongchari Battalion (11 BGB) said that such public welfare activities will continue in the future for the welfare of the common people living in the border area.
