An experience exchange tour has been held in Koyra, Khulna under the Resilient Homestead and Livelihood Support to the Vulnerable Coastal People of Bangladesh (RHL) Project

The experience exchange tour was held at Madibad Launch Ghat area on Thursday (November 13) at 10 am by Jagrani Chakra Foundation.

The RHL project officials of Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) and Nabalok Parishad and the concerned beneficiaries participated in the tour. The purpose of the tour was to gain practical experience in modern and climate change resilient technologies. The participants visited crab farming in modern methods, goat farming in the paddy field system and climate change resilient homesteads. They listened to the experiences of the beneficiaries at the field level and witnessed innovative initiatives. At the end of the tour, the participants in the exchange meeting said that such experience exchange tours will play a role in the implementation of future activities.

The participants of the event will continue Jagrani Chakra Foundation’s efforts to develop climate change resilient housing and sustainable livelihoods in coastal areas through the RHL project.
