‘Career Roadmap Workshop 2025’ held in Cox’s Bazar
Cox’s Bazar Career and Business Club (CCBC) has organized a day-long “Career Roadmap Workshop 2025” to improve the career awareness and skills of the youth.
The workshop was held at the Pulse Bangladesh Society Training Center in the Uttaran residential area of Cox’s Bazar town on Saturday (November 1) morning. Students from various colleges and universities in the district, young entrepreneurs and young professionals participated in it.
The speakers at the workshop said that to survive in the modern workplace, it is important for the youth to not only achieve good results, but also to acquire real skills and confidence.
They urged them to build a career according to their qualifications and interests instead of chasing jobs.
In his speech as the chief guest, Saiful Islam Chowdhury Kalim, CEO of Pulse Bangladesh Society, said, “In the current competitive world, it is not possible to succeed without career planning and skill development. Youths need to determine their own strengths, interests and goals right from now on.”
Rupa Pasha, director of Cox Kutumbari Restaurant and a woman entrepreneur, was present as a special guest. She said, “It is not just about good results, now is the time to acquire real skills.
Only if they can develop communication and leadership skills along with studies can young people lead the change in society. ”In addition, Abdul Alim Nobel, chief journalist of the planned Cox’s Bazar movement, said, “The youth of Cox’s Bazar are very energetic and aware today.
If they get opportunities and guidance, they will be able to lead at the national level.” Participants in this day-long workshop participated in various sessions and group discussions on career planning, CV preparation, communication skills, interview preparation and leadership development.
The workshop was conducted by Minar Hasan, founder of the club. The club’s mentors Ali Raj Jiblu, Tofazzel Tuhin, Farhan Shaon, Mahmudul Hasan Sajib, Kalim Ullah and Banmali Rudra were present at the event. Club founder Minar Hasan said, “We want the youth of Cox’s Bazar to become job creators through their skills and confidence, not just job seekers. Today’s workshop is the beginning of that journey.” The organizers said that the selected participants in the workshop will make themselves more skilled and confident by participating in skill development, training and mentoring activities step by step for the next one year.
