Village meeting held to implement BNP’s 31-point agenda in Sreepur
A village meeting was held in Sreepur, Gazipur on the “Implementation of 31-point agenda for repairing the state structure and public participation” presented to the nation by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
The meeting was organized by the villagers of Dumoni of Ward No. 1 of Prahaladpur Union of the upazila on Thursday (October 30) afternoon.
Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, BNP’s nomination candidate for Gazipur-3 constituency and former senior vice-president of Gazipur district BNP, was present as the chief guest at the village meeting.
He said that the “31-point agenda for repairing the state structure” program is a groundbreaking initiative to resolve the current political, social and economic instability in the country. I urge everyone to unite in this movement to restore people’s rights and establish democracy.
Present at the village meeting to implement the 31-point plan were former general secretary of Gazipur District Jubo Dal, former vice-president of Gazipur District BNP Sheikh Abdul Razzak, former general secretary of Prahaladpur Union Chhatra Dal Abdul Momen Akand, leaders and activists of various units of BNP and its affiliates, and villagers.
