On October 28, 2025, the Russian House in Dhaka held an official ceremony to present passports with visas to Bangladeshi students enrolled in Russian universities under the scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, Alexandra Khlevnoy, congratulated the students and wished them success in mastering educational programs in Russia. “We are confident that you will return to Bangladesh as highly qualified specialists and make significant contributions to the development of your country,” she noted in her address to the ceremony participants.
During the event, approximately 95 students received their visa documents. The future students expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive high-quality education in Russia free of charge and emphasized that after completing their studies in Russia, they plan to return to their homeland to participate in the country’s development. The event, dedicated to the students’ upcoming departure for Russia, was attended by approximately 300 people.
