On Monday, October 20th at 6:30 pm, this program was organized by the Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Union Cox’s Bazar District Branch at the Cox’s Kutumbari Hall.
Under the direction of Alhaj Habibur Rahman Sohel, General Secretary of the Mofusal Journalists Union Cox’s Bazar District, the program was attended as the chief guest by the Chief Guest, Bangladesh Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region, (Additional DIG) Alhaj Apel Mahmud.
The program was presided over by Alhaj Sohel Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Union Central Committee.

Abdul Alim Nobel, President of Bangladesh Mofsal Journalists Union, Cox’s Bazar District, SM Humayun Kabir, Senior Vice President, Bangladesh Mofsal Journalists Union, Cox’s Bazar District Branch, delivered the welcome speech at the event.
The chief guest of the event, Alhaj Apel Mahmud, Additional DIG of Tourist Police, said in his speech, Cox’s Bazar has an unparalleled role in the development of the tourism industry, we assure that we will provide all the necessary arrangements for journalists to ensure their safety, and journalists have to work hard day and night to maintain the reality of society and risk their lives to work at the field level, ensuring the safety of tourists is not the sole responsibility of the Tourist Police but also the responsibility of journalists, we are already conducting a special campaign of the Tourist Police to make the tourist city drug-free.
Everyone must work together to ensure the safety, fair opportunities and professional dignity of journalists.
The event placed special emphasis on developing the professional skills of journalists, promoting ethics and responsible journalism.
