On Saturday (October 18) afternoon, at the initiative of Sariakandi Upazila and Municipal Jasas, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman distributed leaflets for the implementation of the 31-point program for repairing the state structure and sought votes for rice ears at the municipal market. At that time, Mujahidul Islam Palash, Vice-President of Sariakandi Municipal BNP and Advisor to Upazila Jasas and former student leader, held a public meeting. At that time, he said that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s 31-point program is an outline for restoring the fair rights, democracy and good governance of the people of the country. This is the message we are delivering to the doorsteps of the common people. He also said that in order to repair the state, active participation of the people and a correct outline are necessary. Tarique Rahman has given that outline. BNP 31-point program is a necessary direction for Bangladesh. It will be possible to establish a democratic state system through this program.
