Jamaat-e-Islami’s human chain in Gopalganj to achieve 5-point demands

A human chain program has been organized by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Gopalganj district branch to achieve 5-point logical demands, including the next national parliamentary election through the PR method.
As part of the program announced by the center, the leaders held this human chain program for about an hour in front of the Press Club Gopalganj on Wednesday (October 15) at 3:30 pm.
The human chain was presided over by Professor Rezaul Karim, the Ameer of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Gopalganj district branch and Bangladesh Jamaat-nominated MP candidate for Gopalganj-3 constituency.
The human chain, moderated by Gopalganj District Jamaat Secretary Al Masud Khan, was addressed by Maulana Abdul Hamid, former principal of Gopalganj SK Alia Madrasa and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami nominated MP candidate for Gopalganj-1 constituency, and Advocate Ajmal Hossain Sardar, former Ameer and current central unit member and Jamaat nominated MP candidate for Gopalganj-2 constituency.
The speakers at the human chain presented Jamaat’s five-point demands, which are – holding elections in February by giving the legal basis of the July National Charter through a referendum; holding a referendum by including the PR (proportional representation) system in both houses of the next national election in the July Charter; ensuring a level playing field for all for the purpose of free, fair and acceptable elections; To make visible the trial of all the oppression, torture, genocide and corruption of the fascist government and to ban the activities of the Jatiya Party and the 14 parties.
Leaders and members of various levels of Gopalganj District Jamaat were present at that time.
