A colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of Global Handwashing Day 2025 under the theme ‘Let the journey of healthy life begin with hand hygiene’ in Kachchhpia Union of Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district, organized by World Vision Bangladesh and initiated by IWR Project.
A colorful rally was taken out on Wednesday (October 15) morning.
The rally circled various roads of Kachchhpia Union. Later, a discussion meeting was held.
Saleh Ahmed, Panel Chairman of Kachchhpia Union Parishad, was present as the chief guest at the discussion meeting.
Journalist Main Uddin Khaled, Founder President of Naikhongchari Press Club, presided over the meeting.
Shahidul Islam, Monitoring Officer of World Vision Bangladesh’s IWR Project, and Thomas Biswas, Project Officer, spoke as special guests.
Also present at the event were local public representatives, WAS committee chairmen and members, religious leaders, dignitaries, teachers and students, and people from various walks of life.
