The 13th anniversary celebration of Shornokishoree Network Foundation was held in Kishoreganj, Nilphamari, on Saturday in a festive atmosphere. The celebration was celebrated by holding various programs throughout the day and cutting a cake.

Ibn Sayed Angkur, Rangpur Divisional Head and National Leader of Shornokishoree Network Foundation, was present as the invited guest at the event organized at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pritam Saha was present as the chief guest.

At this time, the head teacher of Kishoreganj ML Model High School, Golam Azam, Upazila Social Service Officer Zakir Hossain, Academic Supervisor Mohammad Habibullah, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Nurunnahar Shahzadi were present as special guests. The guests gave guidance to the students at the event.

The day turned into a lively gathering with the presence of club leaders, students, guide teachers and guardians of various educational institutions.

Journalists from various local print and electronic media were also present at the event and participated in the event.

Since 2012, the Shornokishoree Network Foundation has been working towards the good health of the country’s adolescents, women’s empowerment, prevention of child marriage, adolescent nutrition and increasing social awareness.

This organization has already made a positive impact in various upazilas of the country by running club activities at the secondary school level.

It is a matter of pride that Kishoreganj Upazila has been recognized as the fourth “Golden Upazila” of the country due to its special progress in this activity. Speakers at the event mentioned that this achievement is the result of the joint efforts of the upazila administration, teachers-students and the local people.
