As part of the nationwide campaign to present BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s 31-point program for restructuring the state, Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, former General Secretary of Sunamganj District BNP, member of the convening committee, and a nomination aspirant from Sunamganj-4 (Sadar and Bishwamberpur) constituency for the upcoming national elections, led a leaflet distribution and public outreach campaign with thousands of party leaders and activists in Sunamganj. On Thursday at around 11:30 a.m., under the leadership of Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul, thousands of BNP leaders and activists from Sadar and Bishwamberpur upazilas brought out a rally from the BNP district office in the Old Bus Station area of Sunamganj town. The rally paraded through the main roads of the town while distributing leaflets and conducting public outreach activities. After the rally, a brief meeting was held at the Old Bus Station area where Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul spoke to the media.

Akbar Ali, ATM Misbah, Advocate Masuk Alam, Advocate Sherenur Ali, Rezaul Haque, Advocate Ziaur Rahim Shahin, Abul Kalam Azad, Nazrul Islam, Monazzir Hossain Sujan, Municipal BNP Convener Saifullah Hasan Juned, Member Secretary Murshed Alam, Sadar Upazila BNP Convener Faruk Ahmed Lilu, Member Secretary Abdur Rahim, Women’s Wing Convener Hafeza Ferdous Lipon, former District BNP Labor Affairs Secretary Sohel Ahmed, Ashok Talukdar, former UP Chairman Ful Mia, Jubo Dal leaders Kamrul Hasan Raju and Mominul Haque Kalachan, Krishak Dal Member Secretary Sirajul Islam Palash, District Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Monazzir Hossain, Member Secretary Jahangir Alam, District Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Tarek Mia, and Rakibul Islam Dilu among others.
In his remarks, Advocate Nurul Islam Nurul said, “In contrast to the politics of vengeance and retaliation, we must work together beyond all divisions to build an inclusive, discrimination-free, and harmonious state based on Bangladeshi nationalism.
We must deliver to the people the 31-point reform program announced by our Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman for restoring democracy, people’s voting rights, and ensuring a transparent, democratic, and constitutional political process.

We have to stand beside the people in both joy and sorrow, resist all forms of injustice, oppression, and corruption, and earn the love and trust of the people.In light of the upcoming national elections, we are working in accordance with the directives of our leader Tarique Rahman.”
