Joypurhat Jamaat holds round table meeting on five-point demands including implementation of July charter at Joypurhat Press Club conference room on September 10.
With district Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Joypurhat-1 constituency Fazlur Rahman Sayeed in the chair Professor Abdur Rahim, a team member of Bogura region of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami addressed the meeting as chief guest.
The meeting was also addressed, among others, by district Jamaat assistant secretary Hasbil Alam Liton, Joypurhat Judge’s Court Advocate Mamunur Rashid, Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Joypurhat-2 constituency SM Rashdul Alam Sabuj, Panchbibi Degree College Principal (Acting) Rabiul Islam, Joypurhat Press Club president Abu Bakar Siddique. District Jamaat secretary Golam Kibria Mandol conducted the meeting.
The speakers at the meeting said that proportional representation (PR ) is a method of electoral system in which seats are distributed in proportion to the votes received by each political party. There will be no more chance for a dictatorial government to be established. Every vote of voters will be valued.
