A human chain program has been held against Abul Kalam Azad, Deputy Assistant Land Officer of Rameshwarpur Union, Gabtali, Bogura.
This human chain program was held on Thursday, October 9/25, in front of the office on the initiative of the local conscious civil society, demanding his removal, alleging irregularities, corruption, embezzlement of money, bad behavior with people and harassment.
Aminul Islam Pias, Aminul Islam, Mahmuda Begum, Nur Alam and others spoke under the chairmanship of the local Badsha Mia.
The speakers said that when farmers come to his office for land work, he embezzles money through various tricks and constantly harasses them.
Again, the land deputy assistant officer Abul Kalam Azad embezzled a large amount of money by making various mistakes.
In addition, the victims complained that the officer also harassed customers and behaved badly.
As a result, the relevant authorities were demanded to remove him from the human chain within 48 hours.
When talking to Rameshwarpur Union Land Deputy Assistant Officer Abul Kalam Azad in this regard, he (Kalam) denied the allegations against him.
In addition, when the matter of taking a bribe of 50 thousand taka from one Nur Alam for rejecting several lands was immediately leaked, he (Kalam) could not give any answer and later he (Kalam) said, I took a loan from him.
When talking to Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) M Abdullah Ibne Masud Ahmed in this regard, he said that appropriate action will be taken if any allegations are found against him (Kalam).
