Abdus Salamgangra of the same village forcibly destroyed 13 percent of the Aman paddy seedlings planted on the ancestral property of Md. Rafiqul Islam, son of the late Abdul Gafur of Moharkona village in Medni union of Sadar upazila of the district.
The locals formed a human chain at Tenga Bazar at 9.30 am on Monday, alleging that this land was encroached upon.
At this time, many speakers including Habibur Rahman, Md. Mofiz Uddin, Abdul Jalil, Md. Julhas Mia, Md. Mofakkarul Hossain, among the locals, said that they demanded punishment against those who destroyed the planted Aman paddy seedlings.

They used a machine to destroy Aman rice seedlings on the land that had been occupied for a long time.
