International right to information day was observed under the theme ‘Ensuring access to environmental information in the digital age’ on 28 September 2025.
To mark the day the district administration organized a discussion meeting at deputy commissioner’s conference room.
With Afroja Akhtar Chowdhury in the chair, the discussion meeting was addressed, among others, by Imam Hashim, and deputy director of social welfare department Joypurhat, vice president of Joypurhat Press club Mashrekul Alam, Dainik Naya Diganta, Omar Ali Babu, 71 TV correspondent Moazzem Hossain, Star News correspondent Al Mamun, journalist Ismail Hossain and Mahfujur Rahman.
With presidential speech the meeting was closed.
