A discussion meeting was held in Kalapara, Patuakhali to increase taxpayers’ awareness of paying income tax. Tax and Company ‘Law’ Associates organized the meeting at the Press Club Auditorium at 11:30 am on Saturday. Businessmen and people from various walks of life were present at the event. Tax and Company ‘Law’ Associates President Torun Kumar Bose, income tax lawyer Moniruzzaman, bankers and income tax lawyers Mostafizur Rahman and Kamal Uddin, among others, spoke at the event. The speakers at the meeting urged taxpayers to be more aware of paying income tax. They also requested other businessmen to come under the income tax umbrella.
