Tourist Police’s special operation successful in Cox’s Bazar
The Tourist Police’s strict operation to ensure a safe environment in the country’s most popular tourist destination, Cox’s Bazar, continues. On September 19, the Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region’s special operation achieved several successes. On Friday (September 19), the first person to be caught in the operation was professional mobile thief Johnny Dhar (26). He is the son of Dayal Haridhar, a resident of Ward No. 05, Kala Sona Titar Para, Ramu Upazila, Cox’s Bazar district. The stolen mobile phone was recovered from Jony. In addition, the Tourist Police arrested two professional robbers and recovered the money stolen from them. At the same time, three children who were lost in the beach area were rescued and handed over to their parents. During the operation, a Kit Kat trader was arrested on the beach on charges of misbehaving with tourists. In this context, Additional DIG of Tourist Police Md. Apel Mahmud said, “Our main goal is to ensure the safety and smooth travel of tourists.
