A meeting was held with the Autumn Durga Puja celebration committee organized by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Boalkhali Upazila and Municipality Branch. The meeting was held at a local hotel in the afternoon on September 20. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong South District Ameer Anwarul Alam Chowdhury was present as the chief guest, The main speaker was Jamaat-e-Islami Boalkhali Upazila Nayebe Ameer and Jamaat’s nominated MP candidate for Chittagong 08 constituency Dr. Md. Abu Naser. Upazila Jamaat Ameer Dr. Khorshed Alam presided over the meeting. Upazila Jamaat Secretary Imam Uddin Yasin moderated the meeting. Upazila Jamaat Assistant Secretary Jahangir Alam, Baitulmal Secretary Abdul Mannan were also present. Municipality Jamaat Secretary Engineer Abdur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Rafiqul Islam Khasru, Abul Mansur, Publicity Secretary Saidul Alam, Ismail Chowdhury Rocky and other senior leaders were present.
