Comilla University (CoU) is set to hold its second convocation on December 7. The information was confirmed to Daily Morning Glory by the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Md. Haydar Ali.

According to university sources, President and Chancellor Mohammed Shahabuddin will be represented at the event by Muhammad Faozul Kabir Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Haydar Ali said, ‘The second convocation of Comilla University will be held on December 7. President and Chancellor Mohammed Shahabuddin will be represented by Adviser Muhammad Faozul Kabir Khan.’

Controller of Examinations M. Nurul Karim Chowdhury stated, ‘In the first convocation, we were able to include students from the 2013–14 session. This time, we are planning to cover up to the 2019–20 session. However, students from the Department of Pharmacy’s 2019–20 session cannot be included since their undergraduate program requires five years to complete.’

It may be recalled that the first convocation of Comilla University was held in 2018.
