Eid e-Milad-un Nabi was celebrated with religious fervor and due dignity at Rangpur Police Lines School and College.
The Police Lines School and College authorities organized the program on Saturday (September 6). Students and teachers recited Hamd and Naat.
The program was jointly conducted by the institution’s Assistant Professor of Mathematics Md. Nazrul Islam and Assistant Teacher of Bengali Md. Sirajul Islam and Principal Professor Dr. K. M Jalal Uddin Akbar presided over the event, and the keynote address was delivered by Carmichael College Associate Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kalam Azad.
Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) of Rangpur Md. Joynal Abedin, one of the guardian members of the Governing Body Md. Rashidus Sultan (Bablu), Vice Principal Administration A.N.M. Babar Ali and Vice Principal Academic College Branch Md. Jahangir Alam also spoke at the event.
The prayer was led by Assistant Teacher of Islamic Education Md. Humayun Kabir.
In the prayer, prayers were offered for the country and the nation, as well as for the martyrs who were martyred in the July-August 2024 revolution, and for the injured.
At the end of the event, prizes were distributed among the winning students in the Hamd-Naat, essay and quiz competitions held on the biography of Muhammad (S.).
