Smuggler arrested with Yaba in Cox’s Bazar operation by 34 BGB

Cox’s Bazar Battalion (34 BGB) conducted an operation and arrested one accused with twenty thousand pieces of Yaba tablets.
According to a circular signed by the commander of Cox’s Bazar 34 Battalion, Lt. Col. SM Khairul Alam, a regular search team of Rezukhal Checkpost under Cox’s Bazar Battalion (34 BGB) searched a motorcycle bound for Cox’s Bazar from Teknaf at 11.50 am on September 2 and arrested 01 accused Arafat Hossain (24), father-Zahir Ahmed, village-Mainul School Road, Puran Pallan Para, post-Teknaf, Thana-Teknaf and district-Cox’s Bazar.
In addition, 01 motorcycle and 01 smart mobile phone used for drug trafficking are being seized.
It is learned that the process of handing over the seized goods to the police along with a case is under way.
34 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. SM Khairul Alam said that the BGB will continue its anti-drug and smuggling operations, including crime suppression, in the border areas to maintain peace and tranquility among the public in the areas under its responsibility.
