Police SI Alamgir Hossain died of cardiac arrest while on duty in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.
Yesterday, Monday afternoon, SI Alamgir Hossain fell ill while on duty at Mirzapur Police Camp in Srimangal Upazila. He was immediately taken to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased Alamgir Hossain was a resident of Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong.
He joined the post of constable of Bangladesh Police in 1992. At the time of his death, he left behind 2 daughters, a son and a wife.
District Superintendent of Police M,KH Jahangir Hossain PPM-Seba expressed deep shock and sorrow over his death and expressed condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased.
